| I have an ULT 2003D and have done this many times before. I have a quilt block that I'm embroidering with a stippling design and I've had a great deal of trouble with the hoop popping off in the middle of embroidering and damaging the design. Then I have to remove the stitches and start over. This is a thick item to hoop with batting and 2 layers of fabric. I added 220 grit self adhesive sandpaper inside the hoop which seemed to help somewhat but it still seems that I cannot get the hoop tight on the fabric and it has popped off again.
Any suggestions? |

| Don't hoop it. Hoop your stabilizer & attach the block with spray adhesive. If you want to secure things better, you can get FREE basting stitch designs from the Thread Artist site. Once you get everything on the hoop, it will stitch around the design with big stitches that you remove later. |

| Thank you. I'll try that. |
