Upgrading from 4.0 through PE 6

I have PE Version 4.0 installed. I have the upgrade for 5 and 6. Version 5 is actually Palette software. I'm not sure I'm installing it correctly. The 4.0 is showing in the Brother Folder and Palette is installing in Babylock folder. I also have the patch. What order do I install these. Do I install 5 and 6, then the patch? Or the patch first. Should PE and Palette be it the same folders. Thank you.
