Combining PES files

Posted by merrymade (My Page) on

I would like to combine 2 files - i.e., I have a letter initial that is in one file and a flower image in another. Is there a way to combine the 2 images into one .pes file? What software would you use? additional equipment?

I realize that I can do this on the actual machine, but I'd like to work with it outside of that in order to get spacing, etc. correct.

I have a Brother Innovis 1500D.

Merry, I use Embird. It doesn't cost much (like around $100). You can download a free 30-day trial, but I don't think you'd be able to save it. I got mine from www.myembroideryhaven.com. The nice thing about it is if you decide you want more digitizing capability, it has plug ins you can add when you want them.
