I just got a new Singer Futura CE-250. It will stitch about 10 stitches and then show the E-1 error telling me the thread is broken. The thread is fine and the stitches look great. I rethread and redo the bobbin, the machine will sew 3 stitches and then stop and the error shows again. I have rethreaded it at least 1000 times this weekend and still the same results. It does it all the time, sewing a straight stitch or trying to embroidery. I got one of my sewing buddies to come over and thread the machine, just in case I was doing something wrong, and still the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried Singer's website, or contacting the dealer where you got it? The website may have a list of common error codes and what they mean. Donna

I contacted the dealer I bought it from. They replaced my machine. The machine had a bad thread sensor on it. My new one sews fine. Susan
