Placement of logo

My son is in Iraq and has asked me to do some shirts for him and some of his men that has their logo on it. I have bought the shirts and they are collar pull-over shirts. How do I measure to put the logo on. He wants it on the left hand side. The neck opening has two buttons and I really want these to look nice. I use a Viking SE for my work and have the logo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Marie

Check out Nancy's Notions, sewforless.com, embroiderthis.com or any other embroidery supplier. They all have a Perfect Placement Kit which should contain guides for various shirt sizes, towels, bags etc. I have not tried them, and usually "eyeball" it or measure down from the shoulder and over from the sleeve.
