Problem with Save As Files

Hi,

I have Brother 8500 & PE V2.5 I have had it for a long time and it works great for what I need it for. The problem is lately when I try to save a design or name I have done in layout and editing, I cannot save or save as anymore. It does nothing...any ideas on what has happened or what I can do to make the save as box/file appear? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
