Has anyone used other thread other than embroidery thread in their brother pe-150. Someone told me once they used sewing thread? If so what kind of thread did you use?
Thanks,
Red

I did on one practice piece that came out really well. I swear the thing is bomb proof...put in washer and dryer by mistake and came out just as good. It was C&C polywrap cotton, 50 weight, and on cheap muslin.

You're really not suppose to use regular sewing thread as someone said and now can't remember why.

Well I use some metallic thread today and the embroidery came out beautiful the thread was made by coats and clark.
Never broke once or had any problems and the designs look beautiful as I said now if I can find the same thread again
I will use again.I used it on velveteen material.
Funny stitchntime, how things we aren't suppose to use turns out better at times than with things we are "only"
suppose to use Hmmmmmmmm!
