Pe design Lite

Good Morning All,

Newbie here with a question. I just bought my second embroidery machine a Brother 8500D and would love to be able to digitize my own designs. Without getting into a lot of cost does anyone know if the new PE Design Lite is good for digitizing? All it says is scan a pic and it auto digitizes.
