Upper Thread stopped pulling through

My Brother PS700 is threaded correctly and all of a sudden in the middle of a job, the upper thread won't pull through. If I cut both ends and pull it out, it pulls very easily. Tried different tensions but nothing seems to work. Please help. I am a newbie at this.

Maybe that particular thread you were using is no good, or you need to change needle for that head.
