fonts on pe-design

I am having trouble with the fonts function(TTF) with my Pe-design ver. 4. I had very little trouble previously (except what I attributed to memory issues) on my **OLD** computer. Unfortunately my old computer blew up and I had to install Pe-design on my newer computer running Windows XP. Now when I try to use the font function, if I use more than one word, it closes up on me. Even if I open a file I did previously, it will only open one word of that design. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the Brother website to see if there are any software patches to make PE Design run with XP? You may have to contact Brother for help. I've heard lots of things don't work right with XP.
