Widening frames

PC 8500 Machine-------------Can anyone tell me how to thicken and widen a circle, square, rectangle etc. on a pattern. I can't find it anywhere in the instructions, and just want my rectangle to have wider borders. Design saved on the machine.

You can't change this on the machine. You either need a different design with wider satin stitches, or embroidery software to change it.
