| I have a question I hope someone can answer. To upgrade from PE design 5 to Pe Design 6 is it just a cd to upgrade or the whole dongle and full upgrade? And where do I go to find out these things. The Brother site is not very helpful sometimes. I have been looking for the hat hoop from Brother to purchase to no avail. |

| Sorry I can't help you with the upgrade questions, but I've seen hat hoops and sock hoops on ebay that they say will fit the brother machines. Maybe you can try there since you are having no luck from Brother directly. Judy |

| The upgrade from Version 5 to 6 does NOT include a card reader/writer or the dongle. It is the CD only. The card reader was changed with the version 4 upgrade I believe. I went from Version 2 to 5, and received the new card reader/writer then. Version 6 uses the same one, so you'd receive it if you purchased the full package, but not if you purchase the upgrade only.
