At the SE Flower show a couple of years ago I saw clothing made from old vintage embroidered tea towels and table runners. Have any of you ever made a garment using this and if so how did you go about it. The only thing used was the handworked area and a little of the surrounding fabric. In some places the tatting or lace work was left on. They were absolutely beautiful but had a matching price tag. Some were as high as 350.00. I want to make a jacket for my 3 yr old granddaughter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
