There are some charts here Thread Charts.

I want the small skeins for hand embroidery. Most of the charts I see are for machine embroidery. DMC and JPCoates are the ones I need. thanks

If you go to the DMC embroidery site, they also have conversion charts for all the brands and types of thread you can print out.

I like to use it to keep an inventory of what I have and don't have for DMC.
