Craft Lightin/Lamps

I am looking for a good craft light for my machine embroidery work so that I can see true colors. I currently have fluorescenct and halogen lighting. I would like like to get a desk type lamp with a magnifier attachment.

Any suggestions?

Also interested in feedback on the quality of ARC thread.
