BabyLock Ellure embroidery

I have a 2004 BabyLock Ellure. I have to admit that I have used it only for sewing and quilting, but have to decided to include embroidery in my list of fun things to do. I tried it last night and my needle kept coming loose and dropping out. I have never had that happen during quilting or sewing - but then again, the speed that the embroidery goes is much faster. Has anyone else had this problem?

I think it is very likely that in the 4-5 years that you have owned this machine, you may have stripped the screw that holds the needle in. I'd recommend that you take it to your dealer to have it checked out. Otherwise, you'll have to stop the design frequently to re-tighten the screw. And if it drops out in the middle of a design it could do some damage to your machine.
