PE Design Reader/Writer

I previously purchased PE Design 5, then upgraded to Design 6. Shortly after this, my Brother Reader/Writer quit working. I can't seem to find anywhere that I can buy just this part. Does anyone have any suggestions? This was pretty expensive software to not be able to use anymore! I hope someone out there can help me with the part, or even if they have a PE Design 5 or 6 they want to sell with a Reader/Writer, I may consider that.

Have you tried uninstalling the box and reinstalling it? If that doesn't work you could contact Brother about it. It could be something as simple as a software patch they could send you, or maybe you can buy a new box from them.
