| New to embroidery and am thinking of buying a Brother SE 270D. One offer is just the machine and anothe offer include a Ulitmate Box Plus, blank rewritable embroider card, Singer 3700 design CD. Is it worth paying an extra $100 for these accessories or will I want/need different accessories?
I am unable to go to a dealer and currently have a very basic Bernette 710. Thanks! |

| I just got my SE270D and am a very very beginner. I have had not problems at all with the pre-set designs. I bought a PED-Basic writer and have found a lot of 4x4 designs by Dakota. Look for sales, I bought disks for $20 on sale that were regular $50-$70. If you have trouble with the writer and drivers, you can download updated drivers for free on the Brother's website. I was told that is difficult to design, that is why I use commercial designs. |
