| Here is a picture of the towels I was asked to do. The ones I was asking how to hoop. I think they came out really well. There is a band on them that has really tight stitches instead of loops and that is where I embroidered the initial on them so I wouldn't have to worry about the loops peeking thru later. It was just what the lady wanted! She was very pleased and I guess that is what counts!
Tami....thanks for all the advice. |

| Tami, I know this is a late reponse but it may help you next time.. Whenever i do towels i DONT hoop them. I do hoop my backing then i spray with the tackey spray. I lay the towel down where i need it and put solvey on top if needed. Oh, i DO pin the towel to the backing or solvey so it cant move as i put my hoop in..... you can go to www.lapdogskennel.com on the 2 Friends Stitchin' page. I did a set with horses and one with ducks on it. I get A LOT of order for them. |
