| I love to embroider but thought I would give fabric painting a try. I don't know what forum to ask this in but what is a good fabric paint that does not run. I purchased some fabric markers but they ran ----spread through the material past the lines of my design so I took them back.
I am wanting to paint the Denim Dan designs for a quilt for my little 3 yr. old grandson. Maybe I should stick to embroidery but just thought someone here might know of a brand or type of fabric paint that stays put. I would appreciate any advice I could get on this subject.

| Lou, they make fabric paint pens and paints also come in bottles with really thin tips. Look in the craft department where they have acrylic paints and look for ones specifically marked for fabric. You can use regular acrylic, but you have to add fabric medium to it. Also, use it straight out of the bottle - don't dilute it with water unless you want it to spread. Donna |
