I have a logo that is an .ai and I create new in drawings x3. It looks good but I want to change part of it to satin stich. So, I hold shift and click on 6 different parts and then click the satin button on the right.

5 parts change to satin and 1 part completely goes away.

It is like it only can be done in step stitch.

Then I bring up the photo in corel draw and ungroup then click on one of the other parts and try to save the style properties the click on the bad part and then apply the saved style.

How can I do this the right way
