Locked out of Magnavox 27' TV ( 27MS343S)

Hi,

Hope someone can help here, I have a Magnavox 27" TV only 7 years old and the remote stoped working first about 4 weeks ago. this was not too much or a problem because the kids always left on one channel. BUT now.. the TV will not turn on at all. I have the power checked, the red light comes on but seem the front panel buttons do not work. I do not know if the child lock got turned on or if the front panel buttons pc board is somehow died. Any help would be appreciated.
