I'm starting a home office and will be working on the phone a lot. So, I decided to find a headset phone. What I want is something with a comfortable headset with noise reduction that is wire free and that has a handset option as well. I assume it will have a base unit that both head- and handset would charge from. Can't use a cell phone.

I've seen the Plantronics corded model but prefer the cordless Plantronics CT 12 - except it is headset only. I did find only one cordless unit with hand and headset the GE Vysis.

Three questions:

1/ Anyone have experience with the Plantronics CT 12?

2/ Anyone know about the GE Vysis (otherwise known as the RCA 25UORE3). This has hand and headset but is a bit pricey. If it works well though, I'd buy it.

3/ Any other recommendations? Are there any cordless phone units that pair with a wireless headset? I'm new to this stuff so maybe I am missing something obvious?
