Good new for you on cleaning remotes!

I got up the courage to open my remote and clean it. The keypad was one big rubberized strip so I washed it in hot water. The problem was dirt, dust and food particles (one shouldn't use the remote while eating dips and chips or anything else!) That was all I had to do and it works perfectly now. Not bragging, just offering you the encouragement to give it a go if your remote is balky...

The little bugs may have more room in there but they might go hungry over the winter now that you've removed their stores.
