Wireless Surround Speakers - Independent Power Supplies

| I would like to add Surround Sound to my TV set-up. I am using a nice two channel Stereo now. I want to either add rear surround speakers, or buy a whole new system. I don't want to run wires to the rear speakers. With most wireless systems that I have seen, you still need to run speaker wires from a rear amp, to the rear speakers, or a wire from one rear speaker to the other when the amp is built into one of the speakers. I don't want to have to deal with any of those wires. It would be much easier for me if I could find rear speakers that each have its own built-in amp, and each rear speaker would be plugged into AC.
I have considered going with a Simple Sound Bar, for Simulated Surround Sound, but don't think that would be good in my listening area. The TV is in a Huge Room, approx. 25' X 30'. Any suggestions? |

| While what you are suggesting is technically possible, the added costs to the overall product, and a couple technical issues probably does not make it something most manufactures wish to deal with. If you only wish to add additional rear stereo speakers, there are RF transmitter/wireless stereo speaker systems available. Each speaker has it's own wall-wart power supply and the audio is transmitted in stereo - each speaker is individually tuned to either the R/L channel.
