Extra blue often means not enough red. How old is the TV?

its a magnavox made in 1995. i tried adding more red before but when i adjusted it things that were blue were kinda purple after adding red.

It means the red gun is probably failing. You won't be able to fix this with just the color controls. It is likely you need to have the red gun replaced. I don't know if I would do that on a 13 year old TV. If the red one is failing the green and blue ones probably aren't far behind.

Would the red tube fluid have any thing to do with it cause i change the blue and green tube fluid.
