| My husband is convinced that ticker tape, captions, and the little display thing when you pause the DVR are going to ruin the LCD tv--says the guy at the store told him so. I cannot seem to find any confirmation of this and can not understand--with my limited knowledge of LCD--exactly why this would be--any info would be appreciated. |

| While not impossible, it is extremely unlikely to have image retention on an LCD panel. |
