| I wanted to put the telephone into another room through the wall. Stupidly I unscrewed the wires without marking where they were. (Actually, they were so dusty that I didn't realize they were different colors, or I would have marked them.) Now I want to reattach the bell in another room through the wall. I've pulled the wires through, and have to attach it again. The wires are black, yellow, greenish-blue and red. There are numbers on the screws: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. All but #2 are double screws. Can someone tell me how to reattach this bell.
Thanks! |

| The greenish-blue and red wires are the ones you want to use. At least that's what was used at the company I worked for. One use for the black and yellow wires was to supply voltage for the lighted dial on the old Princess telephones. I can't answer your question about the screws. It sounds like they're part of the bell assembly? |
