splicing ethernet cable

i have one ethernet cable and i would like to attatch 3 heADS to one end. is that possible or will it interphere with something?

    Each run of Ethernet has to go from "hub device" to "client device". You can't splice it. I could get into the gory details if you want.

    Nope. You need a switch or hub. You can buy a used hub on eBay for under $10.

    get a switch it will keep your speed better than a hub!
