| Does anyone know the difference between the older style Bose 151 speakers and the new 151 SE speakers. The older style is considerably less expensive. I would prefer purchasing these unless there are some major qualitative differences. Thanks. Harry |

| While I have not had the opportunity to listen to them side by side, the SE is their "Stereo Everywhere" latest & greatest version of outdoor speaker. Since the previous version is no longer available, it somewhat moot to speculate if they are any better. The idea is that the 3 speakers mounted around the curve of the cabinet will create a wider dispersed sound. To me, outdoor speakers are more or less an expendable product and as long as it sounds good, I'm happy... for a few years. |
