| The cord on my Sony clock radio is broken (see pic). I cannot remember if something connected these two wires or how such a clean break occurred.
Can this be repaired somehow?

| A power cord??? You can't solder a power cord. Just put a new plug on it. If the cord has a 'ridged' edge, connect it the same way as the original plug was. Soldering or otherwise joining it would be illegal and, frankly, stupid. |
