Help...internet on our computer through a cell phone

Posted by ar_dramaqueen (My Page) on

I have a Sony Ericsson phone and I recently added the internet to the phone plan. I was told that there is a way to hook up the phone to the computer so that you can use the phone's internet connection through your computer.
How do I do this?

Thank you for all of your help,

You have to get an adapter that plugs into your computer modem then to your cell phone. Talk to the store you purchased your cell phone from.

Be very aware of the charges as some plans are for phone use only and some are for mobile broadband only (computer) and there are other plans that work for both depending on if you have sprint or att Tmobile etc. If the plan is the wrong one you can easily rack up a staggering bill overnight, and I mean totally jawdropping one night or day of usage fee.
