| We went to Best Buy to purchase a 40" Sony Bravia and a wireless home theatre package. However, we left empty handed after the salesman told us all of the disadvantages of buying a wireless surround system package. Do they really interfere with all of the other electronics in the room? If so, what are your thoughts on just buying the TV for now without surround sound and purchasing the other pieces (speakers and DVD) later? Will we enjoy the picture and sound by just hooking up to our DVD player we have now?
Thanks for the help :) |

| Which wireless speaker package were you looking at? I haven't heard of any wireless speakers interfering with other electronics. Wireless speakers that cut out for no apparent reason, yes. Wireless speakers that sound poor, yes. Your TV with the dvd player you currently own will sound OK. Acceptable sound but certainly not great sound. |
