25" TV WAS MANUFACTURED IN 1999. I FELL ASLEEP WHILE WATCHING IT 2 NIGHTS AGO,AND WOKE UP TO NO PICTURE, JUST BLACK, AND HEARD A REPETETIVE LIGHT BLIPPING SOUND FROM THE TV. I UNPLUGGED THE TV FROM THE POWER STRIP, AND REPLUGGED IT IN, AND ATTEMPTED TO USE THE REMOTE CONTROL AND THE ON/OFF BUTTON ON THE FRONT OF THE TV TO TURN IT ON WITH NO SUCCESS. I UNPLUGGED THE TV AGAIN, WAITED UNTIL MORNING AND TRIED AGAIN WITH NO SUCCESS.
DOES THIS UNIT HAVE A FUSE THAT MAY HAVE BLOWN AND I COULD REPLACE TO SEE IF THAT HAS ANY AFFECT, OR IS IT JUST TIME TO BUY A NEW SET AND TRASH THIS OLD ONE?
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ASSISTANCE YOU MAY PROVIDE.
MIKE DONOGHUE
