Philips 2004 Model 60PP9202/17F 60' HD TV

The problem I am having started a couple of weeks ago. When the TV was turned on , double images appeared on the screen. Normally by turning on and off the TV this problem went away.Today I turned the TV on and sure enough the double images appeared so I turned it off, when I went to turn the TV back on , nothing!. The TV won't come on using remote or manual methods! Any help would be greatly appriciated.
