I have a 2003 vintage Mitsubishi 65" big screen TV. The TV will come on and work great for approx 1 minute then goes off. Also the remote now does not work at all I have to push the power button on the front of the TV, this occurred simultaneously with the kicking off problem. The TV has done this occasionally in the past but it would always stay on after you restarted it a couple of times but now after a dozen trys and the remote failing to work I am thinking that whatever the problem was has obviously gotten much worse. I ran the self diagnosis and it gives a 1-2 flash pattern which is supposed to indicate no faults detected. Not sure where to start? I do have a good Fluke 16 multimeter that is microfarad capable so I can check capacitors or whatever, if someone could lead me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. My background is as a HVAC technician but try not to hold that against me LOL. HELP
