| Greetings, I experienced the same problem. I am using the Yamaha HTR-5790 with a 110v/220v transformer with no problems for about 2 years. Just recently the receiver started to turn itself off automatically after staying on for about 15-20 seconds. The user manual says the unit could be exposed to a strong electric shock or static electricity. The manual suggest to unplug all power chords, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug everything back in. However, this did not work. I tried another transformer and that did not help either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sami |
