two year old tv loses cc both live and dvr then cc returns.

I need CC because of a bad right ear and really bad left ear.

My TV about 22 months old has started losing CC for a few hours, both live TV and DVR have no CC. Then CC returns.

I started keeping a recording of network program just as my test. Last night no CC. This morning the same recording has CC. Live program last night has no CC. This morning a live program has CC.

I use a Dish remote that has nothing to do with CC. The TV remote is on a shelf, untouched. I do nothing. This just happens.
