Can't view my home videos on my tv

Posted by heidiho (My Page) on

I have a Samsung S850 camera and burned the videos I took with this camera using Roxio CreatorDE. I can view the videos on my pc but not on the tv. I have a Phillips DVD player. I get an error message saying "video images not available".

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
Hope someone can help.

I'd call Philips Customer Service and see what they say....

I'll try that. Nothing else seems to be working.
Thanks for your help.
Have a nice weekend.

Probably the format you burned is not the correct DVD format. PCs can play lots of formats, DVD players often can't. Test in another DVD player, if it doesn't work there either there's no need to call customer service.
