Can't view my home videos on my tv

I have a Samsung S850 camera and burned the videos I took with this camera using Roxio CreatorDE. I can view the videos on my pc but not on the tv. I have a Phillips DVD player. I get an error message saying "video images not available".

What am I doing wrong?
