| I tried out my new mini-DV camcorder. When I play back the video on the camera the picture is sharp and bright. When I hook the camera up to the TV (either our 55" LCD or 26" CRT) the picture is less bright and grainier. Is this normal? Also, if I take the cassette somewhere and have it burned to a DVD will it the same as when I play it back on my camcorder? |

| Your mini-DV only has a certain number of pixels. When viewed on a small screen it looks good. Blow up the screen and it blows up the picture, but the same number of pixels. Burning to a DVD won't change anything. |
