| I have an analog TV connected to the cable company.
What causes it to show pixels on certain channels sometimes? Is that poor reception? Sometimes it says poor signal and the picture goes out but--------- Am I receiving analog & digital signals from my cable company and is there such a thing?????? |

| There is only digital signals from the cable company. They get converted (if necessary) to your (analog) TV. The pixelation is caused by a bad digital signal from the cable company. They may be able to increase your incomimg signal level. |

| There is a lot more to getting a tv picture to your house than many people know. The pixels could be coming from many places. It could be in the broadcast, the transmission from the channel to the satellite, the satellite to your cable company, or from the cable company to you. Those are just the start. If you notice a pattern to the pixels, EG: at the same time of day or on the same channels when you see them, let your provider know. |
