| I have a problem with my 4 year old Phillips television Model 26PW6341/3. It shut off one day by itself, so I unplugged it hoping it was just overheated and it eventually turned itself off again. I've been reviewing the problems in this forum and it looks like others have had similar problems. Some of the fixes mention a resistor. I have the back of the TV off but I have no idea what I'm looking for. There is what appears to be a resistor on the tube cb (white, rectangular in shape ceramic). Any help in diagnosing and fixing this TV would be appreciated. I have a multi-tester but I have little experience in TV repair.
Thank You. |
