How tough is an iPod touch 3rd gen? I found one laying in the street and the glass is perfect. Not a scratch but the rear metal case is wasted. Dozens of dents and nicks. I cannot believe a car could run over the iPod without crushing the glass? It works fine. I cannot believe someone could damage the metal back like this in normal casual use? Very odd.

made using Corning Gorilla Glass. It's strong. Hope you tried to find the original owner and see if s/he wants it back. People don't usually throw their unwanted iPods on the street. The new 5th-gen model is ace, btw. It's an iPad that fits in your pocket, and a good camera (photo or video) too.

Such is life. I was going to post on CL in the lost/found. Have owner send me password to verify it was their unit. Would have been interesting to go down that road.
