| I thought I was in the market for a mini-dv camcorder. I did not realize the obstacles to eventually getting the video onto DVD from this device.
Kid at BestBuy steered me toward Samsung SC-MX20. Can record on up to a 32 GB SD card. Reviews make it seem like it is intended for YouTube. Not interested in that at all -- just want my video to end up on a DVD for us to enjoy for years to come. Any problems anyone can see with this option? |

| Depends on if you're going to use it indoors. Looks OK, but see if you can find the Lux rating. I bought a JVC 30 GB hard drive camcorder a few years ago and then found out it is 15 Lux. Some Sonys and others are down to 1 Lux. |
