Mounting a TV to a wall

We are considering buying a TV cabinet in our bedroom. It would have doors to conceal the TV whan not in use. The problem is that our bed is at a right angle to where the TV stand/cabinet will be. I thought that a solution would be to mount the TV (a 26-32" flat screen) to the wall via an articulated mount, so that we can pull out the TV from the wall (and out of the cabinet) and swivel it towards the bed.

Has anyone had any experience with these sorts of mounts? If so, what brands did you use. In my reserch, the mounts I have seen only extend 20" or so, which I fear may not be enough to get the whole TV out of the cabinet.
