I also have the same problem discribed by numerius other post on your original form (light gray/white screen with white lines accross the screen & the set shuts off about 5-sec's

after turning it on).

My model number is: TS2556C121. The Chasis # is: 25F8007583.

I purchased the set new in 2000.

Does my set also use the R3340 resister? Also, how to I

access the location of the resister (do I just remove the

screews around the edges of the back cover ?
