Phillips 27PS55 Horizontal Position Problem

I have a 27" Phillips TV about 2 years old. The picture is excellent and the sound works fine. However, there is a 4" horizontal black gap at the top of the screen. It appears that the picture is simply adjusted down this far horizontally. I cannot find any horizontal or vertical screen adjustment, even after taking the back off the tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
