w300i Sony Ericsson Cell......Memory card info

Posted by ar_dramaqueen (My Page) on

I recently purchased a Sony Ericsson w300i cell phone.
I was wondering if any of you knew whether this phone would hold a 1GB or higher Micro SD card.
I know that is is supposed to be compatible with the 512 MB, but am wondering if it will be compatible with more.

Thank you for your help!

Dunno, but 1 GB cards are cheap enough that, if you stick one in and find out the phone sees all of it, great; if it sees only 512 MB, at least you have maximum capacity and you haven't thrown away much money.

In fact...

I have a 1 GB MicroSD card that I bought for my Nokia phone which I cannot use because, contrary to what the Best Boy salesguy said, MicroSD does not equal MMC (which is what I need for this phone). I'd be willing to let it go cheap. :-)
