Hello, I'm new here.

I'm beginning to get the impression that a DVD Player does not come with the coaxial antenna in & out, and that I have to use the RCA A/V cables (yellow - video) (red/white audio)

Could someone verify this please.

My own DVD/VCR combo has the coaxial antenna in & out plugs, but I'm looking for a friend with just a DVD Player.

The plan was to go with coaxial from the cable box to dvd, then from dvd to tv, but it seems DVD Players do not have this, but DVD recorders do.

I've looked at diagrams and they show A/V out from the cable box to A/V in #1 TV, then A/V out from DVD Player to A/V in #2 TV.

Is this the way it has to be, or do newer DVD Players come with the coaxial plugs.

I'm looking at used players for $20, so they may be a few years old.
